Downtown Calgary's only Lutheran church is located in Eau Claire at the corner of 8th St and 3rd Ave SW.
Founded in 1899, historic Trinity Lutheran Church has been a cornerstone of the inner-city Eau Claire and downtown Calgary communities for over a century. We have grown into a truly urban and multicultural community of faith, with members living in all parts of the city, coming to Calgary from all parts of the world, and all walks of life. Everyone is welcome at Trinity. To us, faith in Christ, reconciled relationships and our sharing as a community of genuine fellowship and hospitality is vital. Trinity provides traditional worship with the feel of a close-knit country church. Inspired and intelligent preaching, favourite old hymns and our wonderful atmosphere and history of the little white church on the corner rounds out the picture.
Sunday 11:00AM Holy Eucharist on 1 & 3 Sunday of month, Service of the Word on 2 & 4 Sunday of month, Service of Annointing & Laying of of Hands on 5 Sunday of month
We have the service piped into the basement for benefit of those with disruptive children. There is a sturdy station diaper changing facility downstairs. There are no schools in the immediate area. Demographic is age 55 and over.

We are in the city for good. Everyone is welcome at Trinity. To us, faith in Christ reconciled relationships and our sharing as a community is far more important than differences in lifestyle, income, orientation, politics, doctrine, and opinion. People from all walks of life can and do join with us in worship and fellowship. We also encourage a questioning and thoughtful attitude towards the faith, believing that a serious faith is an examined one.
