First Lutheran is easily accessible via major city routes - 41st Ave and Kingsway. Bus #41 runs west from the Joyce Skytrain station. Ample parking is available just west of the church and on the church side of wo streets, Wales and 42nd Avenue. The wheelchair entrance is on 42nd Avenue.

First Lutheran is a community of Christians, a gathering of people of diverse ages, culture and traditions. Sunday 10:30AM In Person Service (doors open at 10:00AM) and Streaming via YouTube (https://www.youtube.com/firstlutheranchurchvancouver) As a sign of our care and love for one another, we are requiring all in-person attendees over the age of 3 to wear a mask, socially distance themselves, and wash or sanitize their hands upon entry. Additionally, we expect all attendees age 12 and up to be fully vaccinated.

We are a community of Christians who gather regularly to worship God, to examine the Scriptures from a Lutheran perspective and to reflect on their significance for our lives. As human beings, filled with God's Holy Spirit and trusting in Jesus Christ as our Saviour, we are sent to care for the whole creation and to bear witness to God's love for the world by serving, supporting and encouraging all who are in need.
