You will find a warm welcome at Emmanuel, where our goal is that everyone who walks into our church building will find a community of fellow children of God, who will open up to help you find your place, where your spiritual needs are met and your personal ministry is valued.

Service Times

Sunday worship is 10:30am. Service times for special worship are posted on the website.

Child Care

Children are welcome in services; they may sit with their family or, if they prefer, at the small table at the back of the sanctuary which is provided with colouring pages and crayons. Our Godly-Play inspired program "Sunday Stories" is offered for children age three to Grade 3, with its supplementary program "The Creation Room" offered for children in grade 4 and up. These are pull-out programs where the children hear a story in church, go to the Story Room to reflect and respond to the story, and return in time for communion. Toys for younger children are available in the Fireside room, which has an audio feed allowing parents to hear the service while watching over their children. The washrooms have changing tables.

Wheelchair accessible via the northwest door; washrooms, office and nave are all accessible; chancel is not.

Mission Statement

Emmanuel is: A community church, with emphasis on the community of Emmanuel and the surrounding neighbourhoods of Forest Lawn, Dover, Erinwoods, Southview, and the southeast portion of Calgary, emphasizing meeting the needs of the surrounding communities, meeting the needs of our seniors, meeting the needs of Emmanuel's members, and including families and youth.
