Bethel Lutheran Church is a home for the family of God. We who have been welcomed into this community for over 50 years seek in our gratitude to welcome in turn all others who bear God's image: Swedish or French, German or Cree, Chinese or American, you are invited to the Lord's table. Plumber or professor, farmer or homemaker, employed or unemployed, you can share in our ministry. Understanding yourself as straight or lesbian, gay, trans-sexual, transgendered or ex-gay, you are accepted. Struggling with addiction or fighting depression, Citizen-of-the-Year or carrying a criminal record, you enrich this community. Student or secretary, age nine or ninety-nine, living in your parents' home, a care home or no home, you will find company here.Lutheran or Pentecostal, Catholic or Baptist, Christian or Muslim, Buddhist or Ba'hai, you are welcome to worship with us. Single or partnered, with children or none, married, widowed or divorced, you are part of this family. Conservative or liberal, right, left or centre, you are welcome. You are welcome here because all people have been welcomed by Jesus into God's family and are loved beyond measure by the Creator whose image we all bear. In diversity there is richness and fullness of life. This is the message Christ proclaimed and modeled for us - an abundant love poured out for all without prejudice.
