Distinctive, vital ministries include a strong worship & music ministry, the broadcast of the Sunday morning worship service over radio ('Golden Hour Radio Broadcast' at 11 am on FaithFM 93.7 or listen 'live' www.faithfm.org) for over 80 years, a large Sunday School, and a caring ministry in the downtown core through the 'Out of the Cold' program, seniors' lunches ('Loaves & Fishes'), and more recently, providing spiritual, emotional and social support for refugees to our region.
Sunday 9:30AM Holy Communion or Service of the Word with Sunday school and Confirmation.
An unsupervised nursery is provided during the Sunday 9:30 a.m. worship service.

We, the family of St. Matthews Lutheran Church, are a diverse, urban congregation serving Kitchener-Waterloo and surrounding area. As a caring, Christian community, we will nurture the growth of personal faith through teaching, worship, and outreach. This will be achieved by creating an environment that encourages involvement, communication and provides positive management of change while preserving our Lutheran heritage.
