Founded by people of Danish background, our congregation is located in a beautiful rural community. We still sing one Danish hymn at worship every Sunday. Our 100th anniversary was celebrated in 2005. Ours is a warm and hospitable community where we enjoy a close relationship with our Anglican neighbours at St. Ansgar, including a joint Sunday School and Vacation Bible School. An adult Bible study meets weekly at the local Seniors' Complex. Quilting is done for Canadian Lutheran World Relief (CLWR). Several community and congregational suppers are held annually. Our congregation supports a local foodbank and ELCIC appeals.A prayer shawl ministry started in 2012 with shawls being distributed to anyone in the community.
