4 Second St (North). Traditionally, the 'North' is not included in the written address. The church is in the North End of Saint John. There is also a Second St. East and a Second St. Renforth.
We are a warm and friendly congregation. The original edifice opened in 1849, as a private residence. Fire destoyed that building. The 'new' church was built on the old rubble stone foundation. We do have some access problems, although the wheelchair ramp facilitates entry. We hold our monthly Fellowship Coffee after church in the narthex. This allows easy access. Hope has a tradition of practising 'Christian hospitality.' It continues.
